How to Clean Floor Tiles and Marble: Maintaining Them in Their Glorious State

Cleaning your floors, be it tiles or marble, is a well-known aspect of home preservation. Cleaning regularly gives your floors some semblance of beauty aside from ridding them of dirt and germs. Check below for simple yet effectual tips on how to maintain your floors spick and span and shiny.



Sweep and Mop Daily

Natural Stone Cleaner (For Marble and Granite)

Stone Cleaner: For marble or granite floors use natural stone cleaner. Natural cleaners do not cause damage on the surface of the stone.

 

Microfiber Mop and Soft Cloth

   Microfiber Mop: A microfiber mop is effective in dusting and dirt pickup and can also be used in marbles as they are completely nontoxic to marbles.

 Dry Mopping: You would have to mop over, dry mop using a smooth dry cloth to get all the remaining moisture.

How to remove tough Stains

Oil or Grease Stain: Mix baking soda and water, apply on stain and let it stay for sometime, clean with mop.

Ink or Color Stains: Wipe it using a cloth damped with rubbing alcohol. This could get rid of stubborn ink.
